How to Care for Your Eeveve Playmat

To keep your playmat looking beautiful and lasting as long as possible, proper care is essential. The top layer of the mat has a printed surface that may be sensitive to excess moisture and harsh cleaning agents.

General Guidelines

  • Clean only when needed and always use a slightly damp cloth.
  • Avoid using too much water and never soak the mat. This can cause the top layer to loosen over time.
  • Do not use baby wipes. These often contain oils, alcohol, or other ingredients that may damage the surface.
  • Avoid all-purpose or household cleaners. Even gentle products can be too harsh for the material.

Spot Cleaning

For tougher spots, use a small amount of mild soap (such as gentle dishwashing liquid) on a slightly damp cloth and gently clean the area. Do not scrub or soak the mat.

Always let the mat air dry completely after cleaning.

Vacuuming

  • Use a low setting or rug mode.

Storage

  • Store the mat flat or disassembled into puzzle pieces.
  • Always keep the mat in a dry environment.

What to Avoid

  • Not suitable for pets (due to sharp nails), chairs, or other sharp objects. These can damage the mat.
  • Avoid direct sunlight. Prolonged exposure may cause the print to fade.
  • Do not use outdoors. Rough surfaces can damage the mat, and UV exposure can affect the print.

Always ensure the mat is completely dry (on both sides) before placing it back on the floor. Use a towel or let it air dry. Trapped moisture can lead to discoloration or mold on both the mat and the floor.

With the right care, your Eeveve playmat will remain a stylish and safe space for your little one to play.
